i got a 02 gt and was wondering if 1 12" sub would fit in the trunk ok, and should i replace the factory double din with a aftermarket double din or a single din?????

 

you can do a custom box to fit anyTHING anyWHERE....Kicker's demo Mustang GT has a 18" solo baric in there...and i've seen a honda CRX with the Audiobahn 34" sub in it...a 12" is EASY...and as far as the DD dash...if you're doing navigation yes do the double din from Eclipse, Pioneer, Kenwood, or Alpine...i think they look better and more factory than the flip-outs...plus less moving parts...if you're NOT doing navi then it is your choice...i don't have a navi unit and i plan to use the DD console (i have a 2000 with the "split" console) and mount my single din radio and external equalizer in the same place as the DD unit
