Default questions about speakers

04 convertible, have the mach 460 system, added a alpine dvd head unit and kicker l5 sub, i want to upgrade my interior speakers, should i replace my 3.5 inch cpeakers with tweeters or another set of 3.5 inch? and what brand of speakers do you all recommend? thanks

When i replaced all of my MACH stuff. I used the factory mach pods for my twetters. CDT,MBQUART,DLS,eD all make good componet sets you could buy.

I added some rockford fosgate speakers and the high and mid pitch is a lot cleaner. I need bass though

you could do a set of componants and mount the tweeter up there if you want or just go with a 3.5 in addition to the front speakers. I would start simple and mount the tweets there for now. IF you decide you want more you can always move them and then buy new 3.5's.

as for brands man that is up to you. go to a local shop and take a cd you know. Play a couple of different types and see what you like.
