Default JVC KD-G800 took a shat on me!

Gonna take it back and get it replaced or get credit for something different. If I tried to load a C.D. into it (it has a electronic flip down face plate), it would act like it was going to suck the disc in but then it would spit it out, and then pull it in and repeat that until eventually it'd pull it in and the face plate wouldn't flip back up and I had to push the disc eject button about 100 times and it finally spit my c.d. out! What a POS. Can anyone reccomend another good head unit for under $200?

try disconnecting power to it and then hooking it back up, or look to see if it has a reset button on the face or behind it.

Yeah it's got the reset button on the front. Maybe I should try and tape up all of my connections and make sure that the the wires aren't touching each other causing a short or something. I'll try and tape up my connections, and reset it and see what it does.

I would have to agree, you should tape up all your connections. Even better yet look into getting some crimpers and crimp connectors, they are a little more reliable........

That's what I've had on there, I don't like doing half *** work. But anyways, I reset the stereo and taped up my connections (just incase) and now everything works just like new again, I also threw my stereo cleaner in there and it helped. Thanks though!
