Can a Rader Pick up a cop crusing?
Hey wus up people i got a system and here in Maryland you can get pulled for having music being heard 50 feet away can a Rader dector Pick up a cop if he is not running rader or is just riding around the highway so if i was listening to my music and a cop started getting near me just cruising around cuz they like to look for us people with the systems so is there a rader dector that can pick up a cop thats around you cuz i aint speeding just crusing wit the music up and im sick of these Citations!!!! IS THERE ANYTHING OUT THERE THAT CAN KEEP ME FROM GETTING IN TROUBLE WIT OUR LOCAL PIGS!!!!!!!!!!
thats true but however, some places now are incorporatin radar guns that sit on the dash of the cop car that point forward and constantly clock people so radar is always goin
dont ask me how it works, the cop tried explainin it to me, something about subractin the cops speed from the vehicles speed to display the difference or sumthin
i kno this cause a cop pulled me over up here in mass as he was comin towards me and i asked him how he knew precisly how fast i was goin
they might not have these all over the place but i kno they got them up here on the shore side of the northeast

pretty simple actually... (and those machines have on/off switches just like everything else)...
you're going 60, he's going 140 (we all know cops break the law they are punishing us for breaking)... laws of physics state that you both going towards each other mean that it's added... you two are moving towards each other at a pace of 200 MPH... getting the vehicle's speed off the ECU and transfering it to the equipment on the radar just allows them to be able to subtract that and get your speed = 60MPH... now of course you can fight it because physics also states that if two objects are coming at each other from different directions (angles) speeds will vary.

I was about to ask you why do you need you music up that loud, then I thought about it and 50 feet is not that far away. When I was living in Philly they had that law too, people would always get tickets for it on South St.
Take it from an ex "pig". If you ever get a ticket from the dash mount units, ask to see the calibration sheet and if they don't show you, take it to court. My agency has those units and barely anyone calibrates them as often as they should. If they are not calibrated, then the ticket is no good. Also, they can also get your speed if you are driving behind the cruiser. By the way, I never issued tickets to people unless they were driving atleast 15mph over the limit and depending on traffic. Also, I NEVER issued any tickets for stereo's being too loud!
