I just bought a 95 stang gt, it didnt come with a radio and im looking to get a stock radio to put in it can someone help me out on which one is right ive seen some that says they only work in this year or that year im just a little confused. Also if someone would happen to have one layin around that they would like to get rid of cheap i would appreicate it.

Im taking my stock CD/casette player out 01 soon, can sell it to you. Its up to you to find out if it will fit into your car.

 

Your best bet is going to be to get an aftermarket head unit. How much you want to spend would be up to you. Then just get an adapter kit if needed and a wire harness if you want it, and you should be good to go.

 

im not looking for an aftermarket one just a stock one and i dont know which model years are interchangable with each other

 

LOL. A radio is a radio, if you can hook up aftermarket unit then you should be able to hook up the OEM too. The only problem I see is harness differences, fixable if you know how to.

 

I've got my cd and tape deck laying around not doing anything.
