jesus... $400 for a jensen unit......
I got this NEW for $212

please excuse the finger prints.... its a 2 din unit, which made it fit nicely in my sn-95... and since its a 2 piece kit, you dont have to worry about everything being all cramped in one unit... ive head that those 1 piece deals overheat

The wattage on that is only 160 (40x4). In my opinion, do like I did and not get one of those 6.5 or 7 inch screens just get a badass lookin cd player with like a 2.5 inch screen, u can still get them that play dvd's. And most of them are higher wattage like 55x4 or 60x4 or at least 52x4.

60 watts is the peak power and doesnt mean nothing. The rms (or the actual power) is 17rms x4, which in your case is probably overrated (dual isnt exactly known for quality). Companys do this to trick the average consumer who doesnt really know what they are looking at, and unfortunately it works.
Jensen looks pretty but their failure rate is high. The reason they are cheap is because they use ultra cheap components to build their equiment, the term you get what you pay for really sums it up the best in this case.
When it comes to car audio questions your best bet is to ask them on a car audio forum, thats their speciality.
Go to www.caraudiocentral.net or http://www.caraudio.com/forum/ and you'll quickly change your mind on that jensen head unit...
Do it yourself. Go buy what you need and install. If you get stuck on something then get on the net and look. It is good to learn this stuff on your own that way when things go wrong, you can fix it yourself.
