Mach 460 Delemma
I have a blown lower door speaker. So without reading too much into the details i went ahead and bought replacment speakers for the doors in my 96 convertible. I ended up buying polk speakers but the problem is that they are 4 ohms vs the 2 ohms that the system is set up to run on. The polk's are 5x7's (i know not the right size) but i can mount them with a little work. That isnt the problem. Im now debating on weather to just replace the one blown speaker in the door with a factory piece. I need peoples opinions on this. Im also setting up a subwoofer combo so that i dont blow any more speakers. What should i do?
Cliff notes -
Blown lower door speaker, bought polks wondering if i should replace with a stock piece instead of the polks because of ohm difference
Thanks,
Andy

if both of your speakers you bought r 4 ohms u can wire them in together off the same channel that will drop the ohms down to 2 ohms or get rid of the stock setup and go after market in my stang of my speakers and componets are run of a concept 4 channel amp that way u can set the frequency of the speakers u can put as muc or as little bass through them so u dont blow them
