My buddy got some subs for Christmas, 2 12" MTXs. Are there any companies that make boxes specific for Mustangs and that are decent quality? Subthump.com used to make Mustang boxes, but the demand wasn't good enough so they stopped. So what are some suggested companies to look at that could make a box (boxes) for these subs for my friends Mustang ('00 coupe). Thanks for any help .

 

there are a couple on ebay that do not look too bad.

 

eh, take it to a shop.. They'll make one that is gauranteed to work well with the subs.

 

Bleh I hate all the stereo shops around here. I had a bad experience with one (with the owner laughing at me and walking away because I said I bought my subs on the internet [he didn't think they came with a warranty but they did - 1 year]), but I'll check on the local automotive forum to see if anyone wants to make a few quick bucks. I was just hoping there was a company like Subthump that specialized in boxes for Mustangs.

 

build one? its not terrible confusing or complex. If you can find area its not hard. Find the optimum size of box and build one. You could even make a mock-up w/ cardboard if you had to. I built my box w/ my bro its easy really
