alarm remote start problem plz help
I work at a car audio video shop and we installed a compustar 2w900fm 2way alarm remote starter in a 2000 Mustang GT the car is manual and you have to perp for the remote start mode but when i shut the door the car shuts off and is now in remote start mode but ill go inside and a half an hour later when the car computher shut down it sends a - pluse to the brain making it think the doors are opening thenthe alarm goes off and leaves remote start mode and ever have that problem if so plz help thanks.

What wire and where did you tap the signal for the door triggers? did you use any diodes or relays? How did you bypass the clutch and did you use any kind of pats system integration? It has been a while since I did a remote start, and even longer since I did one on a mustang and I do not think there are many people on here that have security experience. Try the security forum at carsound.com. i send you there with a warning that there are alot of a-holes over there, but there are also a alot of good people with good info.
ok, first you need to remove all the t-taps.............. crimps are acceptable, soldering preffered, but t-taps are for the guys that wanna get in get out and don't care if they have to fix it later, don't be that dude......
I am suprised that it did not have any instructions to diode or relay isolate that wire. I can't remember exactly how it went but I am sure that it is something along that line.

i found the problem with when i dioded it i didnt cut the wire in half and dioded the wires i just dioded the doortrigger wire from the alarm brain thanks for the help.
