Default Mach audio system

just wondering who else has had a problem with their mach 460 6 disc changer where the ejecting disc will hang up on the top of the cd slot and also has anyone ever upgraded to the mach 1000 from the 460?

I replaced my stock 460 head unit for exactly that reason. I am not impressed with the quality of stock cd players. I went with an Alpine something, somethingoranther, and works great. It also displays the track info and cd title (pretty cool) Now I am in the process of re-burning my entire cd catalog to clean up some edits and write the info so player dispays it all

The Jazzer on why am I bothering to do all this?

EDIT: oops! didn't fully answer your question. I am not upgrading to the Mach 1000, I am replacing the entire system.

Yes, both my stangs do this. More so on my 01'. Sometimes it occurs when ejecting and other times when I'm switching from CD to CD. It is EXTREMELY aggravatingsince most the timeI have to just wait for it to finally spit the damn thing out.[:@]

I've never had when switching cd's but i've found that if you keep a credit card or something with the same thickness you can just push down on the top of the cd's while ejecting. but no one has ever upgraded to the 1000 from the 460? btw how much is that option new both the 460 and the 1000?

OK gonna sound retarded but I bought this Cobra about a month ago and where in the heck is the Changer?? I really haven't looked for it but I assume it has one because on the lower portion of the CD it says "Compress and Shuffle". Now is this the changer?? I thought it was but I didn't really want to start jamming CD"s in there if they dont belong.. Thanks guys..

The cd changer is built into the cd player.
