Default mach 460 adding a sub? will this work

I know that i can not just hook a sub up or put a new deck in. But what if a hooked up a cross over in the rear like this http://cgi.ebay.com/1-PAIR-3-WAY-PAS...em270074033468
I was just wondering about how it would work with the ams. I could send the highs to the tweeter the mids to the stock subs and the lows to another sub. But would i have to use the stock amps or could i get a nicer one, of cource i might have to get a cross over that could handle it, but would this work?

I would not buy the X-over above, the subs are WAAYYYYY too high (should be 20 - 70 HTZ, IMO) Also if you are not happy with the sound of your system, why use "salvage" components to use to make a new one? I am not trying to be a Rich-head, but have been down the road you are on, and regretted it. There is NO short-cut to good sound.

Save your money until you can repace the entire system. Get a new cd player, good 3 channel amp (separates if possible) and an electronic X-over (if needed) and deal with a good stereo shop. Don't buy something because the sales person said "this is the best" or because "I have this in my car" buy it because YOU LIKE THE SOUND.

Have them assist / build it for you and keep in mind one thing: There is NO such thing as too much power so buy as much as you can afford.
