Are you talking about installing subs "under" the back seat? Lots of directions to take your question, so please clarify for us.

Iwill give you an option.

Assuming you want to eliminate the back seat from passenger use:If you install a rear-seat delete you will most certainly have the room for subs. Would recommend you make your own (as I did) b/c you need the strength to handle speakers. I don't recommend this location as I think the trunk would sound better, and don't like to advertise. The subs would be upward facing so figure you wouldneed alot of power due to placement in the cabin, but not sure. Some others have done just that. You can see post a week or so ago

If you want to keep the back seat functional for passengers, sorry, you won't be able too (unless they sit between the subs )

what i thought about doing is taking the seat out and cutting the padding on the bottom out a little and putting some small subs down there but that probly is not to practical

I wouldn't recommend cutting the padding issue. I think you would have a poor seat and poor bass.

Theres a guy on realmofexcursion.com that put a couple of these under his front seats. I know Mustangs have very very little clearence under the seat. But if your looking for stealth and bass these are it. Mpyre Audio 65x.

In theory it is a good idea, but if you read the guys other post that I linked to you will think otherwise.
