I have a 2002 Mustang GT and was wondering which Mach stereo system i have. I know i do not have the Mach 1000. All my speakers have written on them is "Mach Sound System". It does not include 460. So which one would that be?

 

That's funny. I have an '02 and just removed the entire system, but thought it was a Mach 460. If it wasn't, what was it? Doesn't really matter now, but am curious.

I've got a Mach460 in my '02 vert and you're right.,. it doesn't say "460" anywhere on my system either, but it is.

 

strange. My 94 has 460 all over the place, never noticed one like you guys say. Do you have the 2 amps under the rear package tray?

 

I don't think Ford even makes just a "Mach" audio system does it? So if it says Mach then its either a 460 or 1000, right?

look in your owners manual, its a 460. Ford only had 460 and 1000, they say 1000 on the mach 1000 systems. but they mostlydont on the new460 systems

 

Yes. My amps were mounted under the rear sub box under the rear deck in trunk. I took it out and have a larger trunk but now I am building a new system, and will lose even MORE space
