Default need help

I have a 93 Mustang with the premium sound system. The previous owner tried splicing someauxillery jacks in there and when I was unhooking it, I broke the part that connects it to the radio. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me where to find that part or if I'd be better off finding a wiring diagram and just wiring it straight to my stereo.

Some car sterio stores sell those harness connectors seperately so people who want to swap in an aftermarket head unit can use the factory harness.. check out some local stores

what does the hrns look like?

Look at page 2 of my sig it shows how to do a 94. Yours has the same wiring, just different componants. if they have not already used the bypass hrns you need to look for it. It can be up behind the glove box on models like yours, or inside the dash the same as mine.

Yes I have one of those wiring harnesses, I bought it from Best Buy. The problem is, the connector coming from the car is broken so it will not connect to my harness.

That connector on the far left is broken AND the wires going to it are cut right through. So now I have bare wires coming from the car and a connector with about 3 inches of wire left on it. That's the part I need replaced.
I don't think I'll ever find one so I was wondering if you think I should just splice the wires from the stereo right into the wires hanging from the car.

Your welcome.

If I had the diagram I'd post it, but your car is a little more compicated then a 65.

you don't want that hrns either way. Look below where the radio was and you will see an metal, octagonal shaped box with a bunch of holes in it. There should be two hrns's going into/out of it. Follow them up and one should go up behind the glove box and connect to another hrns. It will look like the grey/blk pwr hrns that was in your first pic(the same as the one I am pointing to on page 2 of my sig), it is a black 8 pin connector. Go to your local audio shop(best buy will do if there is no K-mart closer!) and get ford 70-1770 hrns. Unplug the hrns behind the glove box and you will be able to pull it up to the radio, use it for your speaker hrns, the power one you already have found, and ignor the small square one.
