If he wants the walmart stuff...

They had a visonik 10 and amp for $60 at the local store in Houston. Go buy a wiring kit and LOC and you could have sub $200 bass.

Everyone has to start somewhere guys.

P: I don't disagree, but 10 years ago when $200 was a 2 week paycheck to me I still started a little better than that. A 200w Power Acoustic and a 10" blau w/minimal wiring and box building supplies was like $250 back then. I would at least start at that level and buy wiring that will grow with the system. I still use the wire from that very first install. Or buy used stuff from friends at school or something.

You can get a much better setup for $250 then $200. $200 lends to primarily used or really crappy equipment.

Nothing wrong with used stuff if its in good shape. I've bought lots of used equipment over the years with mostly good success. Especially when you're in high school and you have 30 guys that are always buying the newest (Type-R, yo!) stuff, the old stuff can be snagged for pennies on the dollar.

Amplified 10" Bazooka tube - perfect for you. And they don't weigh much so you can still get your speed up
