Differences between the CDT TW tweeters?
http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=4418
i'm looking at these and the other two versions with the standard 3/4" tweeter....not really considering the titanium one as i'm thinking the titanium tweeter will be too harsh for my tastes (even though the tweeters in my Type-R system now are silk)
so yea what will be the difference in the 3/4" tweeter and the 1" tweeter other than power handling?
i think i am going to go with either of these sets and then two of the eD 11Kv.2s...and then i'm going to get some of that eD black carpet and cover my whole trunk (you think 4 sq yards would be enough tocover the whole trunk and my current sub box)with it (as well as eDead)

I haven't heard the CDT's, but I can tell you that I love titanium dome tweeters. Nothing reproduces a steel symbol crash like steel... The titanium is also lighter weight and stiffer than silk domes... They also usually have a higher power handling because the Ti can dissipate the heat.
In short, don't discount them until you listen to them. They are mechanically far superior to silk.

i know mechanically they are superior...but i'm looking for a very laid back sound...my tweeters now are very harsh and the detail and clarity are very crappy...i want my highs to be more detailed but softer...i've played around with my x-overs and my EQ...and i just cant them to sound good
