I have an mp3 player that I want to hear through my car stereo speakers. I bought that adapter that plugs into the ciggerette socket but iit wouldn't play. I tried it in other vehicles and it works fine. Could it be because the ciggerete socket is in between the seats and not near the stereo?

 

Does your cig lighter socket work?

If it works fine in others, I would say you have no power to lighter socket.
