mach 460 install questions!!!
got a 95 mustang with the mach 460 i bought it without a radio in it ... it still has all the factory plugs.. i have a aftermarket cd player do i have to buy a special harness for it to make the 460 work or do i have to rewire each speaker
It it really easy, you need this harness http://www.crutchfield.com/S-yoypQGa...amp;tab=reviewIf it sounds distorted when you install it, just cut the black box where you can adjust the gain. The amps in your car are used to a higher imput (regular speaker level inputs) instead of rca level inputs. The black box takes the speaker level input and brings it down to an rca level input, it will still work it will just not be as loud. I did this all in my car with the mach 460 and it sounds really good.
sounds familiar.........
page 2 of my sig shows how I did it on a 94 gt. I went a little further then you need to but it sounds great.
