Amp or Speakers?
I am at a dilemma here. I have about $200 to spend on my audio system and I am debating between installing higher quality speakers in the rear of my car, or hooking up and amp. The current speakers in the rear have a 150 watt max. Should I get a newer pair? Or hook up a decent amp?
I would say amp, but it depends on the application. Why the hell would you amp your rear speakers? What are your front speakers like? The front should be the nicest and the ones that are amped. The rears should be disconnected or thrown in the trash.
if you have the stock speakers dont amp them. i sell car audio and factory speakers sound a little better amped but not a huge significance. i would buy a nice set of polk DB's all the way around and then amp those when you get the money.
