POST your systems here...subs/amps/units
I was just wondeirng what kind of systems you all got...if you have time post the type of subs/amps/and head units you all have in your stangs. Im curioius what kind everyone uses. I was thinking bout getting a full rockford system..but idk. Lets see what everyones got!!!
Well, I have next to nothing in my GT(just the 2 dash speakers and a cheap $40 unit, that was black and plays mp3 cd's)
So it fits my interior and I get what I want.
But In my winter beater
I have two 10" Alpine Type R's and an Alpine Amp
cant remember wattage or anything
Got it for xmas a couple years ago
And I got cheapie Jenson speakers in the doors and in the back(guess theyre better than stock)
All in my Wonderful 91 LX 4banger

Yeah I got the mach 460 sound system, hits hard as a teddy bear. I bought some audiobahn flame q 12" subs and a power acoustik 2000w amp but I never installed them, because they add weight.
jvc head units push amps very nicely. Boston is the clearest door speakers. i also have audiobahn rear deck speakers, 2 kicker comp vr 12's and a kicker kx 500.2 for the subs, kx 600.4 for the door speakers. 3 farad cap and 0 gauge wireing
(2) Diamond Audio CM3 10" subs
Kenwood 1000w monoblock
Custom build TL boxes
Diamond Audio 5X7 (front and rear)
Jensen 400w 4channel
Soundstream passive crossovers
Nesa 7" flipdown LCD
PS2
Custom fiberglassing

if ya put it in the trunk don't look at it as adding weight. look at it as getting better traction. plus with a system it will make a non noticable difference. it wouldn't even take .1 off your times thurr.
