Default Sound deadening....

Ok... so I am lookin to reduce the pesty road noise that seems to come from the trunk area, thought Id get me some Dynamat... but after lookin around eBay there are alot of other brands out there... i would prefer a roll of it that I can cut myself as opposed to the sheets Dynomat sells, anybody got any info on FatMat or B-Quiet?? Or anyother good brand?? Also I have heard of and seen people use that roofing press and seal stuff... my buddy used it in his 93 GMC Dually... but it still isnt completley on the road... I seem to remember it being a bit messy. What you guys think??

i only have dynamat extreme on my doors (not the kit...it was layered on)...you think it would be worth it to remove it and go all secondskin?...i would do something like Airextreme has done and do the whole car

I have used both edead sev2 and dynamat extreme. The edead would not stick to my doors as well as the dynamat, but supposidly they have changed the formula of the adhesive. You might give it a shot.

I have heard nothing but good stuff about second skin. I will consider using it onmy mustang.

B-quiet is crap, only good on trunk floor. The trunk lid, rear speaker deck, side panels...basically anything with gravity working against it...it will just peal right off and be a royal pain in the ***. Go with something more durable.

I FatMatted my whole car with FatMat Extreme over a year ago (sans trunk lid cause I ran out of material), It's still stuck even of vertical surfaces
Seems to do exactly what it was meant to do, my mufflers aren't nearly as loud (and in a Vert with Magnaflow dualsthat's definitely needed)

second skin in a magnum over here. reduced road noise and the stock kicker system sounds quite a bit better especially at lower volumes.
