Box: assuming that amp (good budget choice!), I’d go with 4 cubic feet tuned to 25 Hz. Plenty of port area for that power, and it will maximize output and extension for your sub.

A clean 300-400W of power is sufficient; more power may gain you a dB or so, which really won’t be audible.

Brace the crap out of your car – the Tempests can really put out the SPL!

I called woofers etc and asked them and he goes, im not supposed to say but if you order a 60a within the next week or so you'll be surprised when they arrive thats all I can say. He also said they got a great price on them and the 60a's were flying off the shelf so fast their inventory got backed up and so they just started having to give people the 61a's. So im pretty sure their going to send me the 61a's, but even if I end up with the 60a's i'll still be happy with it.

Yeah im only using a 4-channel for the whole car, since im only listening to stereo sound I only need a right and left channel... And a monsterous amountof bass. Save space, save money, save install time, save everything...

what is the difference between the 60s and the 61s?...and do you know which tweeter they are shipping with the 61s?

 

They keep the upgraded tw 25 tweets but you get a slightly better midrange.
