What if I want to be able to re-engage the security feature in case a cop pulls me over?

On the Alpines you have to get a $50 relay box that takes care of the process. The easiest ones to bypass are the Pioneers, and Kenwoods. One wire thats all. You hook it up to a ground and you're good.

That's refreshing since I'm looking at getting a Kenwood tonight when I take my car in to get the alarm fixed.

I don't knwo where you get this useless information.

I recently purchased the Pioneer Avic z-1.

Pre-one month ago, you had to ground the remote, and when you started the car, you had to wait till the start-up screen came up, and flick the lights on/off.

Then it would disable to brake, and under 10m.p.h. rule, so you can watch DVDs going down the highway.

If you're gay, go with the Kenwood.

Because I expect you to be raped by them.

LOL I ended up getting this one. Got a really good deal on it too including a 4 year warranty in case it screws up on me. So that makes everything in my car under warranty.
