Halfway through component install
Halfway through component install....FINALLY.
Got the drivers side done, it almost looks stock, seeing as the polk tweeter is black and my sail panel (what I used to mount my tweeters) is also black.
Plugged it in, and its kinda weird how the left channel is superb, and the right channel is REALLY ****ty in comparison.
I've decided to not take out my rear speakers, however, I'll have the head units amp turned off (which disables all speakers connected to the head unit, AKA the rear speakers).
I've come a long way from asking a bunch of stupid questions, but it looks like my system is FINALLY going to be all together and installed.
I should be done by about 4-4:30. I'll have pictures and videos up then.

ALRIGHT got it fully installed, and it sounds AWESOME!!!
Installed each tweeter in the sail panel, the woofers in the stock speaker locations (with speaker plate), and the crossovers are tucked behind the kick panels (VERY tight fit on drivers side).
All in all, from start to finish, took me about 4 1/2 hours to do everything, because it took me awhile to figure out the system to pull the cords for the tweeter and woofer from the door to the cabin (used a coat hanger and ALLOT of tape).
Alright, time for some pics, sorry I couldn't get more, my GF's camera died.
Picture #1 - Just a general picture of the door without the panel on it. The tweeter has been fed through the sail panel opening near the top of the door, and runs down and out the door through the tube. Woofer plate is on.
Picture #2 - Pictures of the woofer fed through, and the some of the crossover is hooked up. And look! The power screwdriver I stole from work!
Picture #3 - Woofer hookedup to the crossover and installed, all that was left for door was to put everything back together, and run the wires to the amp from the crossover.
Picture #4 - Up close, albeit HORRIBLE picture of the tweeter mounted and hooked up. Just drilled 3 holes in the sail panels, one for each speaker wire and the screw that keeps it held onto the panel. Looks almost stock (but its hard to tell in this picture).
Picture #5 - The door all put back together, you can't even tell I messed with it. If you look really hard you can spot the tweeter.
And that about does it.
<--Living proof you really dont need rear speakers.

Ya, the car is loud as **** now.
I had to turn the gain down on the speakers to hear the sub, THATS how awesome and loud they were.
I've already got compliments from all my friends, and even my dad was like "holy crap!"
The speakers sound so good I can't even explain, I was in my buddies car today, and he has a stock, premium sound system.
It sounded HORRIBLE compared to mine. Made me feel proud
