The pioneer rev series comps and coax's are very nice. I have not heard the comps, but they get a lot of great reviews.

The pioneer shallow subs I have heard left somehting to be desired. If space is a big issue, and your open to suggetions, elemental designs and vifa both also have shallow mount woofers.

do you have links for those subs. I really wouldn't like all my trunk space being taken up by a sub(or 2). When you say something lacking, what do you mean? How so?
Thanks

I just wasn't impressed with either the spl or wq of the sub. I guess its good fr what it is, but you can do a lot of other things.

How much trunk space are you willing to give me? I need some dimensions to work with.

well, see, I don't really know either.Just don't want some fricking sub taking up all my trunk space. Assume I know nothing and that would probably be close.

how about some rockford fosgates? I found I site where I can get two for cheap. How do they compare? Are their stage 2 subs significantly better?

No, I remember seeing a shallow mount subwoofer, somewhere along the performance of companys like Adire, RE, ED etc. I'll try and find it for you, that is if you really do want something to take up as minimal space as possible.

I would like to stay under $70 for a sub, and I found a pioneer, and a rockford fosgate for that price. Is there any others for that price that would be comparable?

If your still considering getting 6x9's you should scrap the idea and invest that money into a better subwoofer. $70... Let me think...
