I think the neons on the subs are a nice rice effect. If you like it thats great. I just think having 8 different colors on your dash or under it is sort of gey. It bothers me that the HU in my wifes car is green and doesn't match BMW amber. I will be changing the HU soon. Too many colors hurts my eyes.

See like what he did is fine. When you see cars outdone in magazines where they do have 8 different colors and enough in the car to be seen from space, thats when it gets rediculous. I installed some red ones in my friends 94 similiar to how you have yours. Real simple, you can see any of the bulbs, clean install no cigaratte wires dangling everywhere. When you do it right theres nothing wrong with it.

I wan't going to insult the mod itself, but neons are gey. We might also be lookingat another type R owner by the first post.
Hey theres no need to insult the Type R. But I think it's funny you say that then some guy busts out with a picture of his neon illuminated Type R's lol.

i once wnated to do neons all up in the ride.. lol.. but then i realized i have an american muscle car.. not a rice burning mobile.. and i decided on none of that **** in this car.. but this past weekend.. i got real bord and wanted to work on my car and took a blue neon i had sitting in my garage and hooked it up to my trunk light so that it turns on and off with the pressure switch.. i mounted the 15" neon under the rear window glass.. between the edge of the top of the trunk and the speakers on the deck.. this way u cant see any bulb, just glow and now it illuminates the entire trunk at night instead of just the front section.. honestly.. i love the mod.. clean as hell cant see a single wire, bulb.. nothing.. and it was fun.. but i might change the neon it self to white.. bc the blue does kina bother me.. (ricer)..

but i will one day get pics and do a wright up on it.. for alllll the noobs to this "mod thing".. its a fever and once u catch it, your hooked..

about the neons inside the car.. i personally kind of like the neons under the dash hittin your feet at night.. BUT.. they would have to match whatever scheme your doin, not be a freekin rainbow of colors in ur car, and whas also thinking about runing them wiht a switch that could dim them, so that there not so bright, bc it actaully takes away from your ability to see at night..

but any more then those areas.. ur getting into the possible, "SPANISH PIMPED OUT, LOW TO DA GROUND MEIN" , look....

ok, so sick cars are not usually good. I hate them. My truck is sick(it don't run), and it sucks, so I would not look into getting your stang to be sick.

as for the original post..
it is a pretty easy thing to do. you can get the stuff online with a simple search along with directions or you could pick it up at like a advanced autoparts or someplace like that.
