You wont really hear it well. Sound is something you kinda have to be there to whitness, unless they have top of the line audio recording equipment.

EDIT: Yeah I guess.

you should post this in the A/V section. the people in there are far more knowledgable and will set you up with a really good system. to make things easier, in your post you should include:

-your REAL budget
-are you going to install yourself?
-what kind of music do you listen to?
-do you want it to just be LOUD or do you actually want good sound quality?

there are some other things to consider, so you should just start a thread in there.

+1...or go to somewhere like www.caraudioforum.com and make an account..they will tell you whats up

i dont ffeel like getting pics right now but i have:
a 12" Alpine Type R
Powered by a rockford fosgate 1200watt amp..i believe P6002 or something?? i cant recall
and a Kenwood Head Unit K?-5032 (close enough)
Q-logic 1cu^ ft box

i cant remember the models!!!

anyways, i installed myself and it came out to be $650 for the sub, amp, wiring, head unit, and boxxx

i'm not being cocky or anything but my sub hits really hard...i've been complimented by many people

and FYI, mine hits ALMOST as hard as my sis' b/f's JL 12" W6....

and he helped me install and everything

so basically, its not always the most expensive sh*t that will sound the best... of course you get waht u pay for, but i think the Type R is a phenomenal sub..its too loud for my stang sometimes..i wouldn't go too much bass in a mustang
