Default Polk subs?

I'm getting a new 12" suband amp and I was wondering is polk a good brand for subs? Love their speakers but I have yet to hear their subs or anything about them. I can get ahold of DBs for $40 eachand MOMOs for $60 each and whats a good amp to run it. BTW never buy MTX subs [:'(]

When you pay me a handleing fee It's mostly MTX we deal in though. [:'(]

I decided I'm going with a 12" momo andprobably a mono800 watt pioneer amp, how do you think that will sound for 1 12"? Only want to go witha single12" becasue I don't want to have to dynomat my trunk, or have it rattling.

BTW those of you that told me MTX were garbage was right...their overpriced, their subs sound like crap, and the amps have a habit of burning out. That's me and my freind's experinces anyway. lol.

You should get a polk amp as well, pioneer is near the bottom of the barrel.
