Actually I did, but a friend of mine offered me a really great deal on everything but the head unit (got it all for next to nothing) so I went ahead and saved myself some money.

And no, I didn't put it in myself, I had it done. I don't know anything about how to install stereo equipment so I had somebody else do it for me. They were even kind enough to bypass the e-brake for me so I could watch movies while stuck in traffic.

Doesn't look bad.

Its not my choice in equipment, but if you got a really good price I say go for it.

i would go out and get a better box fabbed up. then mount the amp on the back of it. that is a complete waste of your trunk. not to mention having the woofers mounted almost right up against the rear of the car will never be a good thing. there isn't much air to move there.

I plan on it. The boxes that are in there now were only ment as a temporarily solution so I could get the wiring done and get the subs in there now. I plan on getting a box made that will sit in the back of the trunk and give me a lot more space in there and also have the amp mounted to it.
