Default how about this component set by CDT?

browsing around the site i came across these and was wondering if it was worth it? I was hoping to spend under $300 for the front components. I am looking at getting one of these three head units-
Clarion MAX675VD
JVC AVX800
Kenwood DDX6019.

Thanks guys!

Those are great speakers. The mids are similar to the HD-62CF's I have. I personally would steer away from them though and buy these:

They are phenominal speakers and fit right under budget.

Just by looking it appears that those are screens. If you are going to buy an indash screen, you might as well go double din and buy one of these.

If you just want to buy an HU Clarion, Alpine, and Eclipse all make pretty nice units.

Would i get those just for the front or the rear too? What kind of amp should i look at for those in either case? I was looking at the clarion double din in dash. I found it for $600 shipped new.

You do not need rear speakers. A good set of comps up front with 1-2 hundred watts is more then enough volume.

What kind of amp should i go with? obviously only a 2-channel, but what is a quality unit a little light on the budget? A Profile or something along those lines?

You cannot wire speakers to 2 ohms unless they are DVC 4 ohms. The resistance (ohms) is simply the resistance of the copper coil that runs around the voice coil.

I personnaly think kenwood amps are overpriced and overrated. I have used profiles in a couple installsand I believe they are a great value andit is a fact they put out thier rated power.
