Indash 6 is dead.....

So about a week ago, I think my indash 6 died[&:] Basicly when I fire upt he stang the cd player says " CD ERROR" I can't play any cd's or eject any. So is my cd player gone for good? Or is there anything I can do? If she is dead do you guys have any suggestions to what type of new cd player I should get. Im not a baller type so Just something nice and basic. With an ipod hookup. I don't want to go to bestbuy and have them installa ****ty radio, like the did when I had subs(I took them out btw....)

pull the fuses for the radio or disconnect the batt to reset the unit. Don't used burned cd's with labels, they don't like em..........

smack the top of the dash when you eject the cd...u gotta do it pretty hard

Mine is dead too!!

I actually have 7 discs in the 6. I have tried disconnecting the battery, and I also go the suggestion of smacking my dash... may try it... or else it is in to the local car audio peeps and see what they can do for me. I do not want to buy a new system, cause I like stock one (most days anways!). Good luck!!
