you just need a line out converter, tap into one of the rear speakers after the amp for your input, stock cd player is fine

I had my 2 12' subs running off my stock stereo for a while and it sounded good. The thing with the aftermarket deck is that most have a built in amp which gives more clarity, you will lose some bass with the aftermarket deck if it has a filter and amp built in. thats what happend to mine. My subs hit really hard and when I got my deck, the power from my subs was less but the clarity from the components was AWESOME!. I just got a better amp and solved the problem. But to make a system sound good you need to fork out the dough.

i just got a new jvc cd player for 150 bucks at circuit city, i watched the guy do the install, it only took him 5 minutes, he didn't f@#k anything up. when i adjusted the bass level, it really kicks hard and my sideview mirrors vibrate alot more than with the stock stereo. im pleased with my purchase.

i have all the parts needed to install the subs with the stock 460. on the line out converter there are 2 wires for the left and 2 wires for the right. i thought i had to tap into both rear speakers???????

which wires do i use if i only tap into 1 rear speaker?
