Its like $129 a year. At least thats what I pay. I don't know if they changed their prices or anything. If you call sirius they should be able to tell you their yearly deals.

I have it and haven't listened to "terestrial radio" since. I never get commercials on the stations I listen to (Octane FTW!!!). I bought 2 years up front and got 6 months of it free, so it was basically 25% off, and I got Playboy Radio for free too. That is such a cool station to listen to on a long drive.

Mine is on my trunk lid next to my navigation antenna. Nobody is used to seeing 2 of them so people always ask me what they're for, even though one says "Sirius" on it.

I have it and love it. There are some commercials every now and then, but like one 30 sec commercial like every hour depending on the station. there are alot of channels with really good selection. Really depends on the type of music you like since some has more channels than others. I think its worth it just because I dont have to keep finding radio stations.
I've had SIRIUS for a year and a half and have never heard a single commercial ever. I think what you're talking about is maybe a DJ advertising an upcoming artist or something but there are no commercials at all whatsoever.

Oh ok, I must have read the ad wrong.

Sounds like I will be buying it since everyone is pretty happy with it, lol.

I've had sirius for 3 yrs now. I have them in all 3 cars. the only commercials you will hear are from TALK STATIONS. Those commercials are usually short (maybe 5 minutes at most) NFL has commercials and so forth. The music stations do not have commercials, the DJ's have been talking over the music more lately, and I hope that stops really soon. I love sirius, I'll never listen to terrestrial radio ever again.

Sirius here also.. I got it as a presentlate in '05 just in time for Howard and Ihaven'tlistened to FM since! As said above, commercials are only on the talk stations. Music stations have nocommercials whatsoever. There are so many stations its incredible, I wish my receiver had more presets! Everything from music to comedy and sports, I love it all. Well worth the money IMO.
By the way, I have my antenna inside the car on my rear deck, far back in the corner and have never had a signal problem. Don't ruin the outside of your car, just leave it inside, no need to run wires outside.
