Default 04 GT

Hey everyone. I just bought a 04 GT coupe and I have a system i want to put in, but right now i just want to leave the stock radio in. Can anyone help me out and tell me how to hook up a system to the stock radio in my mustang? Also, can you guys make any suggestions to me. I have 2 12" alpine type E with a RF amp. Should I put both in there or would one be plenty? Can anyone suggest anywhere to get a box that will fit in my new car? I would really apprecate the help. Thank you.

Heres a link on what you'll need

as far as a box that will fit and not take up much space, my bro's 03 GT has a stealth box for his sub, not sure where he got it tho...

Just whatever you do,DO NOT change the stock speakers if it's a Mach 460 system. the stock speakers are 2ohm,and all aftermarkets at 4ohm,they will not work correctly with the stock amps, and cut out. I've been going through hell with mine since i purchased my GT,the last retard put crappy Polk Audio speakers, and an Alpine head unit in it.

I doubt the problem is with the speakers, it is more then likely vastly overpowering the inputs on the stock amplifier.

If you put higher resistance speakers on an amp it causes it to produce less power and heat and therefore lowers the probility of overheating and causing a shut off.
