Default Looking to upgrade the audio in my 2007 Mustang

My car came stock with the Shaker 500 so IIRC, I have 8 speakers, correct? Well, I want to replace all of them and possibly put in a sub and amp aswell. My budget is $1,500 MAX w/ installation included. What's the best I could do for that amount? I already have a Pioneer Avic-Z1 HU installed so should I go with Pioneer all the way around?. Thanks in advance for the help

What type of music do you listen too.

I would steer far away from pioneer in everything except headuits. Depending on the music you listen too, or if you want fons of bass, there are lots of great options in your price range.

Here is the setup I would run...

Fronts: http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=5091$300 and a very nice deal

Sub: 2X http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=35(Dual 4 ohm version)
Front Amp: http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=47
Sub Amp: http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=44
Deadening: http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=52

When you do the package builder you get all the ED stuff for around $1000. That leaves you $200 for box construction and wiring.

thats an ok setup if your not looking for quality. thats a really low grade setup and they have had problems with their subs, the voice coils start bottoming out after a few months. And you don't get much of a warranty through them

I would suggest going with some nice 8 inch subs in the door, with a 5.25 faceplate to replace the 6x8's in front and rear as well. Check out Cadence, RD Audio, or Digital Designs, but they are lil wait.

well im a licensed dealer and haven't blown an amp in three years. And for sound quality i put the new mercury line against some jl audio's at the local show and beat them? So the decesion is strictly yours. But hey we have to have opinions
