You found both on eBay, im watching them too!

Both are excellent, the 61a's I would honestly suggest you get something higher up, they are an excellent starter/budget speaker. If you like to listen loud, you will find yourself wanting more in about a month or so. Atleast I do.

The thing about CDT comps is that you have to give them a lot of power for the mids to come alive. I am feeding 300 watts rms to each channel on my mids and they are amazing. BTW, I am using HD-62CF mids, SANet480 crossovers and TW25 tweets. It is a really nice setup. They play very low and I get no distortion at high volume.

A friend of mine had the 61A's that I installed and for the price they cannot be beat. I just installed the CL-51APro's in my wifes car and those little 5.25's put out more midbass then the old infinity reference 6.5's I had in there. I actually stole the crossovers and tweets from my old comp set and am using the pro stuff in my pathfinder. The 5.25's are running off the front two channels of a concept 504 at around 60 watts rms channel.

I just installed the higher end ES-620's in a G35 and they are some of the best sounding speakers I have ever heard. They are running offof 200 watts rms from an ED Nine.2X.

well if i can get them on the cheap i am going to taek them. I would love the 620's but i don't have $300 right now. what about the NINe.4. is that ok to power those or more than enough?

It depends if you are running 2 or 4 of the amp's channels to the speakers. You might be satisified running 2 channels to the comps and 2 to a sub, but those comps will be happy at around 100-150 watts rms and the nine.4 delivers around75 watts rms per channel.

That would be perfect!

I would just buy a Nine.2.
