Default Stereo Problem

Gonna try and keep this short.

Tore out the Mach 460 in my 97 GT. Put in a Pioneer head unit, kenwood 7x5s in the front an 5's in the back. No subs. One day im sitting there, and boom, it makes a big crack noise when I turned it up an since then I ve had a whining noise in my speakers. Sooo....

Took it to best buy. They rewired my car with Rock Fos wiring, new ground wire, and an RF 4x4 amp (come to find out the amp has a bad channel, only 3 work. Still have yet to send it back). The whinning noise, although almost non existant, is still there. A guy at a local car audio store told me that usually the case is a bad ground, or a wire came lose and is hitting bear metal. Is there anything else that would cause this? The ground is good I think, it sparks when it hits metal. And I am pretty sure no wire is lose.

Another big issue is i have no bass what so ever. At least the MACH system had a tiny pound in it. Right now it just makes a loud bump noise. Its garbage, not sure if its the amp putting all that power to speakers that can only handle 50-60w RMS when the amp pushes 115w per channel?

Sadly you almost need to start all over, take back what you can to Best Try and start from scratch. And I was given a remedy for the whine noise. Let me know what you end up with after talking to BB.
