So recently I have decided I want to get a pioneer headunit and started looking around at different audio stores and they are telling me because of the shaker 1000 system I would have to completely redo the car, speakers, subs, wiring, etc all just for a new headunit...I don't have that kinda money..so are they jerkin me or is this really the case?

i would need to know more info on the mach 100 system. But i would say theres prolly an amp powering the subwoofer and 2 amps powering the speakers and such. I would say the only problem you might run into is making the subwoofer play. then you could always wire that sub to the sub out on the aftermarket deck and solve the problem. That is just a shot in the dark without knowing the complete system.

 

ok so theres like 7 amplifiers with the mach 1000 system. hmm there is most likely going to have to be some re wiring. Ill try and look into it a little more for you if no one else knows anything about the system.

 

there is no big deal to integrate into it just like the 460. Page 2 of my sig shows how I did it.

how can it be the same as a 460 system? theres 4 more amplifiers plus 2 subwoofers.

 

ttocs didn't say the system was similiar. He said integrating into it is very similiar, almost identical.
