Default Two door speakers not working

Okay, so I was trying to install an amplifier and a subwoofer in my 01' GT with a Mach 460 system, and discoverd that my front two door speakers are not working. I know that both speakers work as I've check them, but they do not make a sound at all. What could be the problem?

Wiring diagrams are impossible to find for these things

also, anyone have any tips on installing an amp? I have power and ground but no idea where to find a remote wire to turn it on.

thanks

It sounds like the amp for your front subs cut out. Check your fuses and remote turn on connections if the factory radio has been removed.

you can use any wire that has +12v on it with the key on. There is one behind the radio.

probably need a aftermarket deck and have to scrap the 460 but to my knowledge....the remote wire that your looking for to hookup would normally come off the decks harness, but since you have the stock deck idk.... an alternative might be trying to hook up the remote wire to a 12v switched on source... not sure if that would work though

any 12V source that comes on with the accessories will be fine. I was DRL's but that might just be head aches waiting to happen.

oh, for the record, one of my amps blew. i opened it up and found a fried resistor so i guess this looks like i need to buy an entire new one :\
