Only headunits I would consider nowadays are Eclipse.

Some Pioneers too, mostly just their high end stuff though.

I've got a Kenwood unit in my 2007 Mustang and I absolutely love it. You should really opt for the Nav and Bluetooth w/ that too cause I use mine all the time. It's worth the extra $$.

Anything thats 3+ years old is decent, their current stuff... Not so hot. I would rather have a $200 Eclipse deck than a $400 Alpine, for sure.

I had the Kenwood DNX7100 up until this past Saturday, when my car was broken into. I absolutely LOVED the head unit though and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Navigation is built in which rocks.

I'm trying not to overkill my loss from this past weekend, but seriously, people with touch screens, be cautioned and make sure the speaker to your alarm isn't mounted somewhere in plain view under the hood because the people that stole from me were smart enough so simply cut the ground wire to the speaker. Alarms are only a "theft deterrent." Theives will get what they want.

You should do some research and find a far better alarm with the upgrades you need this time around...

Prox sensor
Glass breakage sensor
Dedicated siren

Theres alot of stuff you can add so that at the first sign that someone is messing with your car the alarm sounds and notifys you to get your baseball bat and head outside.

Oh I've got all of the sensors. The alarm kills the ignition too, but I didn't have the dedicated siren.

I have a two way remote, however, I was in an amusement park (Kennywood) and was most likely out of range because I had no idea that my alarm had gone off.
