I have 2 12" Kicker L7 solo barics ran off of 1 Linear Power 660 amp bridged running 4 ohm and I honestly dont think there is another set of 12's out there that could compare. Im not knocking anyones setup, I love JL's, but those solo barics are HARD to beat.

Oh SHUUT UPPPP ^.

To the cx1gt guy, do you not get it? He didn't pay that much and if you are against spending money on audio equipment then leave the A/V section. That's why the only thing you have added to your almighty GT is the POS, played out, "Dronemasters" which will rust in a few years and you are "focused on exterior right now." You know Mustangs are musclecars right? Go get a blower, cams, nitrous and gears...then come back here and preach.

And to the OP, just post the damn price you actually paid. I promise, the FBI isn't going to break down your door and take you in for posting your BB discount online. . Everyone makes mistakes and thinks their system is the baddest one out there when they first get it. Truth is, there will ALWAYS be someone out there with something better, faster, louder, etc. You just need to learn a bit more before making a purchase and wasting your money. You could have gotten a lot better for a lot less money if you bought elsewhere. I found that out just over a year ago when I joined this site and am in the process of completely redoing my system. I was just as happy with it as you are when I first got it...then I drove my car every day for almost 2 years now and every little detail and flaw showed itself, to the point where I hated driving my car because of the audio (that and being a V6 Auto ). So in a year when you realize you are unhappy with your set-up, we'll be saying "I told you so," but you can count on getting some good advice in here and learning from your mistakes.

This is another example of a person that could have got a much better system, regardless of what he paid, by asking on the forum before he bought the equipment.

I don't hate the products he purchased, but he could have done soooo much better! This sort of stuff just angers me. The ignorance about electronics even at electronics stores is out of this world!

Are you serious?

Let me guess, you have trouble breathing when your "system" is at full power?

And what do you mean compare?

Sure sound is subjective, but metering in SPL isn't.

And I highly doubt you are comparing your kicker's to Sound Quality.

What type of box are these gifts from god in?

How much cu. ft?

Where are they facing?

Ported/venter or sealed?

Please, please, please, tell me you have a capacitator.

No, you don't need a cap.

wow, welcome to the av forum.... It is what it is and nothing more....

Hope that you enjoy your new equipment mang! I lost all my love for RF more then a few years ago but in the last 2-3 yrs they have made a pretty good turn around in their amp lines and I have considered owning one again. Infinity tweeters tend to be a little too efficient and loud for my tasts but I know alot of people that love them. As for the person asking why you went with the coax instead componants, I am looking for speakers now and I am going with a componant speaker mounted as a coax. I do not plan on using the sails as they make imaging a little off...

Yes you might have been able to get that stuff cheaper, or you might have been able to get better sound with something else but who cares if yer happy. Next time you consider a purchase let us know and you will get every opinion from "it sucks" to "buy that now". Ignore them all and do whatcha want......... opinions are like azzholes and it really stinks around here most of the time.

again, welcome to the AV forum.... This is normally the way it goes.
