rear speakers
hey i've got some kickers in the back for my rear speakers and they're hooked up to my alpine deck. they rattle the metal that holds them sometimes when they get to loud. the quality of the music is still perfectly fine so its not like i'm gonna blow it out. it just rattles that metal piece that holds it. anyone know how to fix this?

The best way to fix your rattle in the rear is to put the aftermarket speakers in the front where they belong.
Take them out. No more rattles, better sound. Win win my friend.
And hotwheels... Dont just post to complain about other people. Post to be helpful or dont post in here, bitch all you want in Off Topic.

yup, hiss welcomes another to the forum.
you need to first find out what is rattling and then fix it. There is damping material like dynamat, expandable foam or a couple of other ways but it basically comes down to making it solid so that it does not rattle.

Although Hiss maybe (ok, IS) mean, hes 99.999% always right.
If you have your system setup correctly (with subs), you wouldn't really hear your rear speakers anyway, just a waste of time, space, and money.

i disagree...
Rear fill has been a debate in the car audio world for years. There are competitors that have done very well with rear fill or with out it. The dude hada simple question and deserved an answer. To simply say that you don't need them is a matter of opinion. His is no more right then yours.

I think some mids as rear fill can add to some stereos, but full range rear fill is basically pointless.
