2-12" of what?

2-12" lets say... W7's is way different than 2-12" Sonys

What all, and I mean all, are you running right now?

more is not always better. I have heard a single 10" that sound better thantwo 10'sor two 12's. Depends on the speaker, the enclosure, and the amp.

I prefer 10" subs over 12", because the bass tends to be tighter. I've got 2 JL 10w3v2 subs in a power wedge (JL) box, and it fills in the low-end quite nicely

Best bang for you buck.IMO is dual 10" Volfenhuag with a Hifonics Brutus or cerwin vega amp, maybe even an MA amp. the JL powerwedge box is decent. a single alum12Q from audiobahn mixed with an audiobahn, phoenix,SPL amp would be good enough, and last a great while.

Exactly. Subs are extremely hard to fit in Mustangs. I would go with a single 10". If you have the money, get an Alpine Type X
