Battery Relocating
Alright, I'm desperate for some rear wheel traction, so i wanted to relocate my battery to my trunk. The thing I'm worried about is whether or not I need to put it in a sealed box. in my moms jaguar, the battery is in the trunk under the floor mat and its open air, no seals or anything, its just under the floor. Everyone says I need to seal it, but if hers isn't sealed, then why does mine need to be sealed?
I'd also prefer not to drill through my floor if I don't have to, is there a way, such as with just a floor mounting plate, that I can avoid drilling ventholes and stuff into my car? I'm worried about water and **** getting into my car and all the things that go with water sitting in a car, mold, rust, etc.
I also searche,d and I couldn't find a good route for where to run my wires. Does anyone know of the best way to run my cable from the battery up to the front?
