Amp bad?
I have a vR3 mono amp 300w that stopped working. My subwoofer was playing and then fading away and a few minutes later it would come back on again. I douuble checked all connections, wiring, ground, fuses,etc... The amps power light comes on and the cooloing fan but no sound from my 12" sub. Do you think the amp has overheated too much now and its bad? Because even after 1-day no sound is coming from amp.
I solved the problem.....It turns out that the wire lugs on the back of the sub were not secure enough. Thay are spring type that you insert wire through and the spring pressure maintains contact......If the sub goes out again I will disassemble the lugs and solder the wires directly to the lug posts for a permanent and rock-soid connection!!!!!
when a customer comes to get new stuff because thier XPLOD exploded, I can get the old parts. there are 3 walmarts in 25 miles. most of the time they will return it even without the box. since Visonik and xplod boxes are both red in some way, the idiots never find out
