help with radio/cd player

Default help with radio/cd player

my CD player is reading CD error. Is there anything that I can do to like reset it? It wont let me load or unload and CDs. Its the stock shaker 500 in my 06 stang. Any thoughts?

disconnect the battery.

ttocs would be the man with the answer, but it seems as though ford units fail very often. Depending on ttocs input, it might be time to go aftermarket.

ya tell my about it Is my 2nd head unit... I dont want to go after market b/c I think im about to get a range rover so i dont want to wast the money, I just need the darn thing to work for a few more months

disconnecting power is the only way I know to reset it with out taking it apart. Do you know what err it is?

try disconnecting the battery again for a few more minutes.....

If that doesn't work I would try a "technical tap" or two.....

take her in as in get repaired? dont waste the money its just gonna break again...all these X in dash cd players do. just break it open, get your cd's back and buy a new deck.
