Alpine is very good, I have the 98......... something or other in my cobra with MP3/WMA playback etc. I used to build competition stereo systems and I prefer the Alpine head unit over most anything. I don't know much about the specific model you are talking about, but Alpine is a good name to go with...........

You will like the Media Expander if you play alot of MP3 tracks, and the Bass Engine Pro is teh shizzle, you can download custom curves and what not off the net. I see it is V-Drive to, so you will need a wiring kit if you are going to use the internal amplifier. good luck...and good choice in my opinion.

What specific information are you asking for? In the last two years, I've bought one of the older 98xx models for my wife and it rocks. I bought a slightly lesser model for my GT and it rocks. I've always used Alpine head units w/o a single problem. You'll like them and the model you are looking at is very nice.

Take care,
Ceyko

I was just wondering for the alpine 9835 has a feature that there is animation moving on the screen. Can you download different animations? If so where?
I think it is called Bio-Lite Graphic Display
