Default Cd ejecting problem

My cd player (in my 2000 mustang) willsuck incd's just fine. But when it comes time to change cd's and i try to eject it i can hear it make making a weird noise. Nothing comes out. But when i stick a nother cd under it (the one that is in the player).. it frees it and it ejects.... is it broken?... or is there something i can do to fix it myself?

I know they do not like burned cd's, but otherwise it is just the ****ty ford cd player, been crap from the beginning. Still working in a 2000? wow.....
