Default omega starter with AOD?

hey, im going to put the Mars Omega remote start in my fox body, but this model requires a signal from the transmission "status". the only other cars ive put this in is a 99 Ram and 94 Integra. both had electonic trannies, but the aod is non-e. will it work if i have to bypass this wire? im almost positive it wont, but im sure you guys have something up your sleeve.

What about the neutral safety switch? That should be able to tell the remote start whether or not it is ok to start.

yes, thats what i was trying to get at. the haynes book and a friend said that the switch is not electronic, more of a passive mechanism[&:]
