I fried my kicker cvr
runninga Duel amp. the amp is rated 460 peak at 4 ohm[sm=headbang.gif]I calculated wrong its 920 watts peak @ 2 ohm. If you know of a louder 12" round sub with more spl output please tell me about it. I want to get the best bang for the buck
Also I'm using a bass slammer box
specs if you need them: http://www.bassslammer.com/products/...mmerBS112V.pdf

in that calculation did you include an ILS factor?
If Lightning Strikes?
The way dual rates their amp they use a high DLS factor meaning that they will make the rated power, if lightning strikes it for that .11113 secs it will put out that 920 watts.......
You blow subs more often by not putting enough ofclean powerto it rather then putting too much power.

That amp would make a couple thousandwatts peak following ILS.
